This original artwork features Dillisk (Dulse), responsibly foraged by Nicola Weldon along the Irish coast. Each seaweed specimen is carefully gathered from strands and rock pools, then dry pressed to preserve its delicate structure and natural colour.
The pressed seaweed is beautifully presented in a natural wood frame, allowing the intricate detail of the specimen to be appreciated as both a botanical record and an artwork.
